WaterView Joins NVIDIA Metropolis

WaterView today announces it has joined NVIDIA Metropolis, a partner program focused on bringing to market a new generation of AI applications. The program nurtures a rich ecosystem and offers powerful developer tools to supercharge vision AI applications that are designed to make the world's most important spaces and operations safer and more efficient.

As part of NVIDIA Metropolis, WaterView extends its primary mission to leverage cameras to monitor the impacts of climate change. • Smoke detection in oil & gas plants, or in waste recycling sites
• Fluid spills detection in industrial plants
• Visibility distance estimation along road networks and in airports
• Flood detection insensitive areas like underpasses
• Snow settling detection on road pavement

NVIDIA tools are also enabling a brand new family of visual AI applications developed by WaterView. By using cameras andGPU-powered edge AI appliances mounted on dedicated vehicles, WaterView is in fact paving the way to continuous, real-time highway monitoring, to provide key data for infrastructure maintenance and people safety.
